YinYoga 50+
Course starts 25 September, 5 classes
12:00 - 13:00
Teacher: Paul Steele
Back to basics yin: This sequence helps take the strain from our vertebrae, and the pain from our backs. 80% of people
suffer from back problems at least once a year. Why should you?
Hipster yin: A lifetime of using our knees and hips means they’ve taken a beating. This sequence helps bring that little bit of flexibility and mobility. So you can keep on rocking in the real world (a Neil Young thing).
Yin to help you mentally declutter: This session is more about looking inward than pushing outward.
Thinking from a “me” perspective instead of “them” perspective. It’s only when we feel better in ourselves that we can help
our family and our friends to be better.
Age-defying yin: We can’t stop ourselves from ageing. But we can slow it down. This session is all about nourishing the cartilage and synovial fluid in our joints, while adding that all-important relaxation and stress reduction.
Less physical and mental stress means a richer – and probably longer – life.
Snow time yin: Swoosh down slopes and cut those carve turns with this gentle flow that concentrates on your knees, ankles, and hips, getting you in condition for whatever piste or weather conditions you encounter.
Want more?
Take the strain – and the pain – from office-bound shoulders: As screens get flatter, our shoulders get rounder. This flow helps us free up our neck, shoulders and upper back for a better posture. At work, rest and play (Sorry Mars).
